Alternative Facts or the Truth

This Presidential Administration often speaks of alternative facts, but is an alternative fact the truth? The world is filled with the truth and with lies. One scholar once stated,  “men would rather believe a lie than the truth”

Socrates has been hailed as the greatest philosopher of the Western World because he died for the truth! His opposition to the truth came from the Sophists, some of the world’s first lawyers. They possessed highly skilled argumentation and displayed ingenuity in reasoning for deception and subversion of the truth.

The truth is a fact or belief that is accepted as true.

Truth is most often used to mean being in accord with fact or reality, or fidelity to an original or standard

Truth is simple and appalling.

Truth is daring and dazzling.

Truth is unshakeable and unmovable.

Truth is solitary

Truth is offensive to many

Truth can never be an ALTERNATIVE FACT
