She Is So Pretty and Talented, But What's Wrong With Her ?

On Thursday, during the controversial trial of George Zimmerman, the man accused of murdering 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, U.S. track star Lolo Jones decided to weigh in with a joke on Twitter regarding the testimony of Rachel Jeantel, a friend of Martin’s that was serving as a witness in the case.
Here’s a screenshot of Jones’ attempt at humor:
Given the sensitive nature and racial tension caused by the trial, a public figure such as Jones probably should have used better judgement with the “joke”. Jones’ sense of humor has had a habit of bad timing ever since her decision to go public with her desire to retain her virginity until marriage, which is by all means her choice. For example, she posted a video mocking the pay she received as a member of the Olympic bobsledding team.
Lolo should hire a PR person to advise her that jokes such as these just aren’t wise for a person in her position to be sending out.
