Andy Murray v.s. Serena in Las Vegas ???

Take Andy on in Vegas? I wouldn't win a point but it would be fun! Williams open to idea of glamour showdown against Brit No 1

Serena Williams was open to the prospect of a glamorous Las Vegas exhibition match with Andy Murray but said 'I doubt I'd win a point.'
Murray challenged Williams the Vegas showdown and after the Wimbledon champion's straight-set victory against Caroline Garcia at Wimbledon on Thursday, the American was asked whether she would be keen to take part in a Battle of the Sexes.
'It would be fun, but doubt I'd win a point,' Williams replied.

'He's probably one of the top three people I definitely don't want to play.  But, yeah, maybe we can have a little bit of a showdown. That would be fine.
'I get alleys. He gets no serves. I get alleys on my serves, too. He gets no legs, yeah.'
The mere suggestion that the pair could play each other has echoes of the time the then 55-year-old Bobby Riggs, a tennis superstar of the 1930s and 1940s, took on Margaret Court and Billie Jean King.
Those matches in 1973 drew huge worldwide attention, particularly the latter, in Houston, that was dubbed the Battle of the Sexes.

Riggs beat Court but was beaten by King, with their match the central act in a new documentary film.
In 1992, Jimmy Connors defeated Martina Navratilova in Las Vegas.
Murray would be expected to overcome Williams, although he would take nothing for granted.
The idea of a clash in the US gambling capital certainly appeals to the Scot.

He wrote in his BBC Sport column: 'I have been challenged by someone on Twitter to taking on Serena Williams. I'd be up for it, why not?
'I've never hit with her but she's obviously an incredible player and I think people would be interested to see the men play against the women to see how the styles match up.
'It's happened in the past with Jimmy Connors and Martina Navratilova. How about Las Vegas as a venue?'
