Haters say this stunning new Miss Russia isn't 'Russian enough'

Russia takes beautiful women seriously; they are one of the country's largest exports, after all. Which is why not only do Russians care who their Miss Russia is, they're furious she's supposedly not Russian enough. Newly crowned Elmira Abdrazakova is gorgeous, yet she's swimming in hate mail for not being a true Russian because her father is a Tatar, an ethnic minority in Russia. She herself was born in Kazakhstan. (Yes, that's the home country of "Borat." Stop asking.) Abdrazakova said she had to shut down her Facebook and Twitter pages because of all the haters. But speaking as impartial observers, we’d be proud to have her represent us any day of the week. [Source]
