Breast-pumping mom says she was 'humiliated' by flight attendant

The next time you think your flight attendant is brusque and unaccommodating, think of Dawn Brahos. The Indiana mom says she was "humiliated" by an American Airlines crew member who refused to let her use her Medela breast pump during a flight to Chicago, insisting it was against the rules (it's not.) When Brahos told her she'd been allowed to pump on previous American flights, the flight attendant called her a liar. "She was loud and cold and argumentative," Brahos recalled, adding that that she’d tried to be discreet. "At least a third of the plane knew my business. I could see them talking [among] themselves." Coffee, tea or total embarrassment? The airline has since apologized. [Source]
