about Latin America

than three years, traveling on this continent

returning to Lima for the second time this year
I find
certain things to be true
Gun
violence is at a minimal, considering gun violence in America
Relaxed
environment
People
nurse a single drink for hours in a sidewalk cafe
No hustle
and bustle, comparatively speaking
Waiting
with courtesy in lines, sometimes wrapped around buildings
People are patient
Mild
mannered approaches
No signs of bullying and outward signs of machismo
More earthy and natural behavior
Good
weather
Rarely freezing temperautres and no snow
The dollar
is strong
A good
place for relaxation of the body, mind and spirit
And
possibly to live
A
definitive
