Lindsay Lohan is allegedly willing to go to rehabilitation on one condition: Her Adderall goes with her.
Lohan reportedly wants permission to continue taking Adderall -- a substance used to treat attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and narcolepsy that increases attention and decreases restlessness -- in rehab, according to TMZ. The 26-year-old wants this clause attached to her plea deal or else she will take her chances at trial.
Last month, Lohan was sentenced to 90 days in "locked in" rehab after pleading no contest to reckless driving and lying to police following a June 2012 car accident on the Pacific Coast Highway. She must also complete community service and psychotherapy.
This is not the first time the "Canyons" star has been sentenced to rehab. Back in 2010, Lohan completed her fifth rehab stint at the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, Calif.
TMZ notes that in 2010 Lohan was prescribed Adderall while in jail for her ADHD. However, doctors at the UCLA rehab facility believed she was misdiagnosed.
Michael Lohan previously discussed Lindsay's use of Adderall and other medications, according to Us Weekly. "[I]t's toxic," he said. "When I left [rehab facility] Cirque Lodge [in October 2007], I thought she was in a good place, but she left with a bucket of medication. I was disgusted."
Although some recent reports claim the "Liz & Dick" actress -- who was most recently photographed partying at clubs in Sao Paulo -- continues to drink and use drugs, her lawyer, Mark Heller, says she is a victim.
“She does not need rehab,” Heller told CNN reporters in March. He added, “Lindsay doesn’t have a problem with alcohol and drugs. Lindsay has other types of issues that are being dealt with.”
