Super-old goldfish dies, leaving behind its bowl-buddy of 35 years
11 hrs ago
There must be something special in the water at Richard and Ann Wright's house. The English couple's children reportedly won a pair of goldfish named Splish and Splash at a fair in 1977, and the pair shared a bowl for an incredible 35 years — until Splish (the fish on the left) was found "floating dead in the bowl" this week. According to Richard, Splash isn't weighed down by grief: He "looks as if he is coping fine and he's just swimming around as normal." As the Daily Mail joked, maybe he just forgot about Splish three seconds after his pal died. [Source]
