Chechen leader blames America for molding beliefs of Boston suspects
23 hrs ago
Measured responses aren't Ramzan Kadyrov's style. The Chechnyan leader recently called a skyscraper fire in Grozny the "will of the almighty" and commandeered a stadium loudspeaker to call a soccer referee "an ass." Now he's issued a statement on the Tsarnaev brothers, the suspects in the Boston Marathon bombing, claiming that "Any attempt to draw a connection between Chechnya and Tsarnaevs — if they are guilty — is futile. They were raised in the United States, and their attitudes and beliefs were formed there. It is necessary to seek the roots of this evil in America." Kadyrov concluded by saying, "We mourn with the Americans." [Source]
