Report: A-Rod still owes millions in legal fees

Embattled MLB star Alex Rodriguez still hasn't paid his legal bills, claims a New York Daily News report. The Daily News went on to say the suspended Yankees third baseman "might be a deadbeat."
Citing a "source familiar with the case," A-Rod still owes millions to the lawyers and private investigators representing him during the Yankee slugger's protracted lawsuit against Major League Baseball.
The article states, "Rodriguez has paid some of the bills, the source said, but he still owes his attorneys and private investigators as much as $3 million for the work they did in his unsuccessful attempt to have his ban overturned."
The source also suggested the unpaid legal team may go public with classified information if Rodriguez doesn't pay his outstanding legal fees.
Rodriguez's lead attorney Joe Tacopina said has no beef with the Yankee:
"I have absolutely no fee dispute whatsoever with Alex," Tacopina told the Daily News in a statement. "He has been entirely fair and responsible with respect to the payment of my fees."
A-Rod's other lawyers had no comment.
Rodriguez sued the MLB, Commissioner Bud Selig, and the players' union after receiving a season-long suspension for banned substance use last year. The 38-year-old dropped the lawsuits in February after his lawyers were able to reduce the 211-game suspension to 162 games plus the 2014 postseason.
