Don't Buy Frozen Lasagna

I have an excellent recipe for lasagna. The different cheeses are the most costly of the ingredients. Of course, you need ground beef and for extra taste, hot sausage !!. If you want to know the recipe, just e-mail me or use the Food Network recipes, particularly, Paula Deen. I liked her better when she was round and fat, haha

Findus admits frozen lasagne was made with 100% horse meat and doesn't know how long it was on shelves... but did it pose a threat to health?

  • Lasagne packs manufactured at plant in Metz by French company Comigel
  • Comigel makes a range of beef products for supermarkets Tesco and Aldi
  • Both stores have removed them from shelves as a precautionary measure
  • Concerns the horse meat contained drug bute - a known human health risk
Findus last night admitted that it has been selling frozen lasagne in which 100 per cent of the meat comes from horse.
The revelation by the frozen food manufacturer makes it the latest in a series of household names to confess to selling items containing horse meat to unsuspecting consumers.
This is the first confirmed instance of a non-beef burger product being contaminated. There is also a worrying possibility that the Findus products contained a drug which is a known health risk.

Last night, the Food Safety Agency (FSA) intervened in the growing crisis and said it is demanding a massive sweep of all beef products for the presence of horse meat.
