Lindsay Lohan, Just Dang Bang Crazy

Lindsay Lohan's Stylist Phillip Bloch Explains Cutoff Dress Debacle

It's one thing to say that Lindsay Lohan wore a killer dress but it's another to say that she killed a dress!
Ripped and extremely re-altered is how the actress returned a Theia couture gown and her personal stylist, Phillip Bloch -- who has styled winning Oscar looks for Halle Berry and Hilary Swank -- deconstructed the dress debacle for Access Hollywood.
"Who the hell cuts a gown? I mean like, cut it -- like a mullet! And ragged," Phillip told Access' Michelle Beadle of the remains of his famous client's borrowed gown.
The couture chaos all started when Phillip got a text from his friend, Charlie Sheen, asking him to style Lindsay for an amfAR event. He agreed, but during the course of the night, the dress he and the actress selected ripped.
Lindsay and her friend's solution -- according to Phillip -- take a pair of scissors to it (an idea Phillip found odd).
"My weird feeling on the subject is when your dress rips and you're at the after party already, isn't that the time when your good girlfriend says, 'Let's go home," he said. "You don't say, 'Let me get the scissors and cut my dress so I can stay a couple more hours!'"
Philip says he and LiLo have only texted over the matter, and he is nothing if not a peacemaker!
"My responsibility is I've got to be the one that goes to the designer and say, 'Hey -- you don't own that dress anymore,' or 'You don't have that dress anymore... what can we do to make this right?'
"[The designer has] seen it now," he added, of the once-floor-length gown that now resembles a tank top. "They weren't happy, but they were like, 'OK, we can work with it.'"
Perhaps surprisingly, Phillip said he would work with Lindsay again - under certain conditions.
"I think we'd have a nice discussion first," he said with a laugh. "We'd have a little discussion about rules."
