North Koreans, Our Newest Cannibals

Whether this is true or not, the idea that the North Korean government is firing missiles or developing nuclear war material is enough said when the country is neglecting its own people. Dictators are always known to be megalomaniacs. Are we helpless to do anything is parents are eating their own children? There is a ring of truth to this article

UNCONFIRMED: Famine-stricken North Koreans are becoming cannibals.
Reports by undercover journalists published in the Sunday Times claim that North Koreans are murdering their own children to survive during a "hidden famine."
Disturbing accounts
The report in the Times leads with a gruesome detail of a father being executed by firing squad after murdering his two children to eat them during a food shortage in the country that may have killed more than 10,000 people last year.
Other accounts described how a man dug up his grandchild's corpse for food and another boiled his own child to consume the flesh.
The independent journalists who wrote these accounts were commissioned by Asia Press, which the Times describes as a credible entity based in Osaka, Japan.
No official confirmation from North Korea
The North Korean government has not officially confirmed any of these deaths.
According to the Times, a UN mission to the country under the supervision of the government reported a food surplus in both North and South Hwanghae province, located south of the capital, Pyongyang.
The 12-page report by Asia Press uses pseudonyms of the reporters and their sources. "Particularly shocking were the numerous testimonies that hit us about cannibalism," Jiro Ishimaru of Asia Press told the Times.
The Times noted that these incidents of famine-stricken cannibalism occurred as Kim Jong-un took the helm, marking his "ascent to power with a new image, a glamorous wife and two costly rocket launches."
Reports of famine and cannibalism in North Korea also surfaced in 2003, The Independent reported.
