World's first floating city would sail around the globe, never dock

This concept lends new meaning to "cruise to nowhere." A Florida company is trying to raise $10 billion to build the Freedom Ship, a mile-long, 25-story-high floating city that will have its own airport, schools, casinos, ballfield and aquarium. The ship would be able to house 50,000 people, plus 60,000 additional visitors and crew, and be set on "Perpetual Sail" mode, meaning it never has to dock (and, as the biggest sea vessel the world has ever seen, it wouldn't be able to fit into any port anyway). It might be difficult for residents' family to send them mail, though: The Freedom Ship will always be on the move circling the globe. [Source]
