Dear Provocative Inspiration Blog Readers
In an epistemology course, I argued that inspiration is indeed a source of knowledge. For example, many believe that the Word of God was given by inspiration. What an abundance of knowledge we can get from it, especially the five books of Wisdom, including Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes and the Song of Solomon. I am in no way trying to preach Christianity or to proselytize. I am a student of philosophy and theology, always and forever. Philosophically, I am a student of Phenomenology, i.e., the study of structures of consciousness as experienced from the first-person point of view. The central structure of an experience is its intentionality, its being directed toward something, as it is an experience of or about some object. An experience is directed toward an object by virtue of its content or meaning (which represents the object) together with appropriate enabling conditions.
The Traditional Analysis of Knowledge (TAC, read Gettier), currently, does not acknowledge inspiration as a source of knowledge. But from the perspective of phenomenology, it is my belief that all rational beings, and often irrational beings, are inspired to know something at any given moment in her life. Thus my blog, Provocative Inspiration. Often, I am just provoked when I observe phenomena, of all sorts, in our universe. And I comment.
John Stuart Mills, has defined that freedom of speech is listening till completion the argument of anyone without interruption if you are in disagreement. The argument might be filled with erroneous statements and conclusion, but let the person finish his argument before the debate. You know that we can often be quite rude when listening to others, haha
Anyway, any how and any who (lol), You would honor me with any ideas or comments that you might have with any blog that I have written. Your ideas and opinions always matter.
Sincerely,
Dr. Donnell Harris
