One Can of Beer Does Me In

National American Beer Day is our kind of holiday, and it's today

If vegging out in front of a football game on the tube isn't reason enough to crack open a cold one, we've got you covered with an even better excuse. It's National American Beer Day. That means it's your patriotic duty to sample a few domestic frosties, which means no German lagers, no British stouts, no Hello Kitty and none of this stuff. (Especially since you probably haven't recovered from the last bottle.) That leaves plenty of good stuff, since American craft beers are more varied and popular than ever. Maybe we can't expect other countries to be gaga over American brew, but we know what we like. Fact is, the average American drinks 23 gallons of beer ever year. Just don't try to do it all today, OK? [Source]
