Woman who has her wallet stolen gives thief an incredible surprise

When Jessica Eaves had her wallet stolen while grocery shopping, she knew exactly who the culprit was — and what she was going to do about it. Approaching the man in a crowded aisle, she gave him a choice: She'd call the police, or he could return the wallet and she'd forgive him and buy his groceries. "He started crying when we walked up to the front," Eaves said, recalling the thief repeatedly apologize and explained that, "I'm broke, I have kids, I'm embarrassed and I'm sorry." Only when they reached checkout did Eaves sense fate was at work. Though she rarely carries cash, she had $28 in the wallet; his bill came to just over $27. "We should always be willing to help someone in need because there is always someone who is in greater need than we are," she said. [Source]
