Gracie Gold accepts prom offer from Malibu High School student
It looks like the dreams of Malibu High School student Dyer Pettijohn are coming true. After getting the courage to create a viral video asking Olympic figure skater Gracie Gold to be his date for prom, Pettijohn caught her attention and got her to accept his offer… sort of.
Gold appeared on “Extra” earlier in the week where she was surprised by the 17-year-0ld high school student and asked face-to-face to accept his offer.
“Gracie, would you go to prom with me?” he asked.
That is when Gold was kind enough to give him his answer. “If it works out, I would love to,” she said.
While it isn’t a firm commitment, it is enough to get the young man excited for his prom and potential dream date.
Let’s hope it all works out and Pettijohn gets to be the star of his high school prom. Showing up with Gracie Gold on your arm is certainly a way to catch everyone’s attention and make them jealous.
