Shaquille O'Neal is being accused of assault by a TNT co-worker for an incident that occurred in May of 2013, according to Atlanta policeinvestigating the matter.
O'Neal's lawyer, Dennis Roach, says the incident "was nothing more than horseplay. No one intended for anyone to get injured."
Robert Williams, an employee at Turner Studios, where Shaq is an analyst, reportedly claims O'Neal "ran out of a room and hit me with a tackle punch to the back knocking me down and falling on top of me injuring my neck and back."
Williams told Turner security about the incident, but didn't file a police report until July.
O'Neal, a 15-time All-Star and four-time champion over a 19-year NBA career, retired after the 2011 season and joined TNT as an NBA analyst.
Generously listed at 7-foot-1 and 325 pounds throughout his NBA career, he was widely assumed to weigh much more.
Maybe he was just channeling his inner Terry Tate?
