Members of the Pi Delta Psi fraternity at Baruch College. A freshman, Chen 'Michael' Deng, died after a 'pledging event' while on a group trip to Pennsylvania this weekend.
A 19-year-old Baruch College student died Monday following an “unsanctioned fraternity pledging event” in Pennsylvania, officials said Wednesday.
Police are trying to determine what happened to Chen (Michael) Deng, who died of a massive head injury at Wilkes-Barre Hospital on Monday.
Members of Pi Delta Psi rushed Deng to the hospital early Sunday morning following an incident at a Tunkhannock Township home. He died after being put on life support.
