The Effervescent Grace Jones......

Move over Rihanna! Grace Jones, 64, shows off her impressive figure in a VERY revealing corset

She may have reached retirement age, but Grace Jones clearly has no intention of slowing down.
And the 64-year-old gave Rihanna a run for her money as she strutted out on stage at New York's Roseland ballroom on Saturday.
Rihanna has previously named the veteran performer as one of her inspirations, and Grace's choice of outfit could have been one of the young pop star's own
Dressed in a revealing strapless corset which showed off her lean figure to the maximum, Grace has still got the body for the audacious stage act which made her famous.

And Grace doesn't appear to be feeling the need to tone down her energetic act, performing the hula hoop and gyrating around a pole.
The star completed her look with a pair of cut off fishnet tights and a pair of skyscraper black strappy heels and a series of wacky headgear.
One hat featured a metallic mask with metal spikes bursting out of the top, while another was in the form of a more Egyptian gold and silver style helmet style hat.

She is said to have influenced a slew of celebrity imitators, including Rihanna and Lady Gaga, who she told The Guardian she was unimpressed with.

The star performed hits Slave to the Rhythm and even hinted at the forthcoming North American storm by singing Hurricane.
Other impressive headgear included a square green neon hat, a native American head-dress and what appeared to be a ceramic style dish on her head.
At one point, she even enjoyed a glass of red wine mid way through the show.

She clearly enjoyed herself, tweeting: 'Who's at #Roseland with us tonight??? Even the security are dancing back here! #slavetotherhythm #NYC.'
The singer has had a successful year, winning critical plaudits for her performance of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee concert in London.
Grace received a standing ovation from the crowd which included all the members of the Royal Family, who were seen nodding along to the song.

'I really don't think of her at all. I go about my business,' she told the newspaper when asked her opinion of the star in a 2010 interview.
And when asked if she thought Gaga had copied her, she said: 'Well, you know, I've seen some things she's worn that I've worn, and that does kind of p*** me off. I wouldn't go to see her.'
