MILL CREEK, Wash. (AP) - Officials have canceled an Amber Alert after police located a young mother and her newborn daughter who reportedly had health issues.

Mill Creek police Officer Ian Durkee says the mother and baby were located Saturday morning at the mother's home in Tulalip in Snohomish County. He says the baby and mother are OK, and the baby is receiving medical attention.

He said Saturday that police are still investigating what happened and it's unclear whether charges will be brought against the woman.

Police said a midwife who assisted with the birth early Friday at an apartment called for a medic unit, saying the child's complexion was gray and she had trouble breathing. However, the 20-year-old mother canceled the aid call, saying she would take the infant to a hospital.

Police issued an Amber Alert for the baby, Annabelle Martini, Friday evening after they were unable to find any record of the child being treated at a hospital or clinic.
