Talking On The Phone, Thing of The Past

I am a baby boomer keeping up with all the social changes that have taken place. Bought a smart phone, learned how to text (no twitter), using social media to get things done and to be heard. However, it appears that we are communicating less with the advanced technology and are loosing some of our humanity.

Some people only communicate (even with family and dear friends) through a text message. And most of the time, one gives a day or two before one might get concerned if no response. Yet, I see people all over the place, just texting their lives away (no pun intended with texting and driving)

The university student who dragged me into texting seems quite uncomfortable talking on the phone, but yet in a text message will talk about any and everything. I talk to my mother every day or at least every two to three days

Oh the smell, touch, feel and sight of HER VOICE!!
