Canadian school bans kindergarteners from touching each other

We've heard our fair share of public schools passing zero-tolerance policies over the years, but they've typically been in the United States. However, it seems that a school north of the border also has administrators with a heavy punitive hand. In response to playground injuries, an elementary school in Langley, British Columbia, has established a "no touching" policy for kindergarteners. In a letter sent to parents, the school writes, "We will have a zero-tolerance policy with regards to hands-on play, resulting in the missing of playtime and trips to the office for those who are unable to follow the rules." Because in those formative years, kids need to learn that all human contact should be met with swift punishment. [Source]
