And We Don't Believe You !!

Ann Coulter on "Double Down: Game Change 2012": "I do not believe the Hillary story"

As part of a Halloween treat for Conservative viewers and readers, on Thursday evening Piers Morgan welcomed the return of author and commentator Ann Coulter.
Joining "Piers Morgan Live" for her second primetime interview in as many weeks, the woman behind the new book "Never Trust a Liberal Over Three-Especially a Republican" offered her personal perspective on another piece of polarizing literature, "Double Down: Game Change 2012."
The forthcoming book from Mark Halperin and John Heilemann reports that the Obama campaign considered removing Joe Biden from the ticket in 2012, and inserting Hillary Clinton, in hopes of bolstering the president's chances at winning re-election.
"I do not believe the Hillary story," said Coulter. "Somebody may have said 'oh, let's present this to the president' ... for one thing, it's always bad to switch your vice president midstream, it looks like you made a mistake. Number two, despite the fact that Biden's makes all kinds of crazy gaffe's that would be career-ending for a Republican, he actually does have a common man's touch that is generally absent from the Democratic Party."
After sharing her position on the proposed partnership between Barack Obamaand Hillary Clinton, the 51-year-old lawyer and self-described polemicist offered the following piece of analysis when discussing the assumed alliance of the president and Bill Clinton:
"I think it's not as friendly a relationship as it seems to be," she suggested. "I think Clinton sort of wanted to be, for one thing, the only Democratic president in recent history elected to a second term. And, number one, Barack Obama did something Bill Clinton never did, and that's get more than 50 percent of the American people to vote for him."
