University awards an MBA to a dog, insists it's not a scam

Pete Smith was just awarded an MBA from the American University of London based on his professional experience alone. Pretty impressive for someone whose language skills consist solely of barking and tail-wagging. BBC Newsnight made a fake resume and MBA application for a dog to investigate AUOL's legitimacy. Despite not having any proof of Pete's qualifications, the university awarded the degree anyway. They didn't even require any work — just a fee of about $7,300. The university insists it's not a scam, and that it has never tried to hide the fact that it's not accredited. Even so, it's blacklisted in five U.S. states and using AUOL qualifications to get a job is actually illegal in Texas. — By Nick Mangione [Source]
