Roger is still the Man, no matter how many more matches he loses. The kid he played today was outstanding today.

You don't kill yourself because you lost, a great many of us do appreciate your game. Take heart and look forward to another championship and remember; you win some and lose some.

It`s good to see a serve & volley player. Starhovsky also has a good serve a plus on grass.. Rodger still a true champion, he faced a non baseline player, short points, makes a difference-

nadal, federer, sharapova all out early, anything is possible now, and what an interesting game tennis can be but good volleys on grass courts are tough to beat. Federer-Stakhovsky is an instant classic.

As sad as I am, changing of the guard needs to happen sooner or later. But still a long way to go with Murray and Djokovic still in contention. Good to see youngsters and underdogs prevail - but I want consistency from them.

I didn't anticipate a repeat of last year, but I didn't expect him to be outed so early. However, Federer certainly made Stakhovsky earn the win, even under an uncharacteristic deluge of his own unforced errors.
