Canada's Kaillie Humphries (front) and Heather Moyse
negotiate a bend during a World Cup event in January.
Oh, come on. It's not THAT bad in Sochi, is it?
You might ask yourself that once you see the photo that
Canadian bobsledder Heather Moyse posted to Twitter, in which she appears to be
taking a bath in a garbage can.
But it's not what it looks like. Well, not exactly:
You see, women's bobsled gets underway in Sochi on Tuesday,
and it seems Moyse was in need of a pre-event hot Epsom salt bath -- a method
traditionally used by some athletes looking to treat sore muscles.
Unfortunately for Moyse, she needed a bathtub to make it happen, and apparently
those are in short supply in the Olympic Village.
Sometimes, you just have to improvise.
Moyse won a gold medal in bobsledding in the 2010 Winter
Olympics in Vancouver with fellow Olympian Kaillie Humphries. We'll find out
whether the Epsom salt bath in a garbage can was worth it Tuesday.
